Abbreviations

• Weight - Weight of each item in ton
• LCG - Longitudinal Center of Gravity. Typically measured from the aft perpendicular (AP)
• TCG - Transverse Center of Gravity. Measured from the centerline. Typically positive to port and negative to starboard
• VCG - Vertical Center of Gravity also known as KG. Measured from the baseline which is typically at the top of the keel or keelplate.
• FSM - Free surface moment in t×m. Calculated as Free Surface in m⁴×specific gravity in kg/m³
• Lightweight - The empty weight of the ship
