Wind (Dynamic) Pressure Calculator

This calculator calculates the wind pressure or more correctly the dynamic or velocity pressure with wind speed and density as input. It accept both metric and imperial units such as m/s, knot, km/h, mph, ft/s, kg/m3 and lb/cu ft.

The wind pressure is calculated using below equation:

where ρ is the density and u being the speed.

Default density is 1.225kg/m3 corresponding to 15°C according to The International Standard Atmosphere (ISA).
