Open water curves - B-Series propeller

The calculator generate the open water curves for a Wageningen B-Series propeller. Input needed is the number of propeller blades, the pitch-diameter ratio and the expanded area and with that a plot and a table of the thrust coefficient, torque coefficient and the open water efficiency as function of the advance ratio is obtained.

The open water curves for B-Series propellers are valid for Reynolds number Rn=2×106 hence adjustment is needed for higher if the Reynolds numbers.

Limitations are:
